Nintendo has once again partnered with carmaker Mercedes-Benz, but this time for “Super Mario Maker.”

PC Magazine reports that the car company has created an event, called Jump'n'Drive, which will be available for all Super Mario Makers on the Wii U. The DLC is free.

In a press release, Mercedes-Benz said that the DLC features a level that was created by fans that were inspired by the first Nintendo-Mercedes partnership. In that partnership, the car company was able to add one of its cars, the GLA, as a downloadable car that can be used in “Mario Kart 8.”

The fans that were inspired by it then created a level for Super Mario Maker, which includes automotive-related themes. The level begins at the dealership, goes through the city, and ends in the autobahn.

Aside from many hidden surprises that await players who play the level, the key reward is a new costume that can be unlocked once a player finishes the level.

The costume, which can be added to the Mystery Mushroom costumes collection, is a Mercedes-Benz GLA costume that features game protagonist Mario riding on the driver's seat. This was made by fans who wanted to take Mario on a road trip with the car. How's that for cool?

Mercedes-Benz cars Marketing Vice President Dr. Jens Thiemer said that the car company is happy to once again be represented in a big game. Thiemer added that both the car company and the moustache-wearing protagonist have some things in common, one of which is the goal to inspire customers and fans alike.

The new Super Mario Maker Mercedes-Benz Jump'n'Drive level is available in the “Event Courses” section. This section features special levels that were made by Nintendo and its partners. The Mercedes-Benz level is free for everyone who owns the game, and is available now.

Super Mario Maker from Nintendo is a game that allows players to create, play and share their personally designed Mario levels, using various objects, enemies and power-ups.
