The new games are actually side-scrolling 2.5D platformers released by Ubisoft, and were originally released as a downloadable content for "Assassin's Creed: Unity," IGN reported. The developer also confirmed rumors that the new game will be released for Vita in a Trilogy bundle.
The game title will depict three new games set in various time period including Russia, India and China. Every single game will cost around $9.99, and if purchased as a bundle, it is priced at $29.99, Gearnuke reported.
Following the first episode, gamers can explore the Ming Dynasty in China as Shao Jun. The India series is set in 1841, where tensions head between the East India Company and the Sikh Empire. Amidst these struggles, Arbaaz Mir (from the game's Brahman series) will protect his lover and friends while trying to obtain an inexplicable Assassin item that were taken by the Templars.
The final episode will head to Russia in the early 20th century, where Nikolai Orelov (from the game's "The Fall" and "The Chain" series) tries to leave the Assassin Order for a peaceful life with his family. To make this possible, he needs to finish a final task for his Brotherhood. His mission is to take an ancient artifact at the house of the Bolsheviks, where the Tsar's family is held captive. He finds himself as a temporary custodian to Princess Anastasia and needs to escape the Templars with the artifact and the princess.
