The highly anticipated "Clash of Clans" Town Hall 11 update is already available. It was said to be one of the biggest updates ever.

For two straight weeks, Supercell has been dropping hints, sneak peeks of the selected features coming with the update. The wait, however, was said to be definitely worth it given that the extensive changes had a huge impact on the overall gaming experiences.

The first major change is that the Town Hall no longer gives out shields anymore. Although it acts like a storage, destroying it would not automatically give players automatic shields. According to Touch Arcade, players can also attack with their shields on but it will reduce one's shield time. Players will also have better control over the length of one's shield and protection from disconnects.

The shields, which ranges from 12 to 16 hours, will also be given based on the percentage of total destruction. In addition, to help those who cannot play as frequently as the others, an adjusted personal break timer will give players six minutes of vulnerable time after three hours of cumulative unshielded play.

Design & Trend also reported that  Supercell has released a series of "quality of life" tweaks under the Town Hall 11 update. With this, players are now able to pause matches whenever they want. With the addition of the Village Guard, a clan can be safe from any attack lasting from 15 minutes up to 3 hours, which costs 10 gems.

The outlet suggested that it is best to use this only on instances where it would be impossible to reset shield defenses at the exact right time.
