As shown in the last episode of Nintendo Direct, the "Legend of Zelda Wii U' is definitely coming in 2016 - much to the joy of the gaming fans.

Early on, the game was no longer expected to have a 2015 release. Following months of no announcements from the developer, gamers have started to speculate about the reason of the delay as well as the possible release just in time for the Nintendo NX to be available. The rumors and speculations only began to die down as the release of the new console is believed to come in 2017, according to  iDigital Times.

The Legend of Zelda Wii U is going to be an open-world and  action- world adventure where the Link can get to explore the huge overworld with very little focus on the defined exits and entrances to the dungeons. The game is also set to modify and challenge the legendary gameplay of the series such as bringing back those basics from the first Zelda games.

In addition, it also appears like the gender-swapping edition of Link will be making more appearances someday in order to provide the first female Link in The Legend of Zelda. Eiji Aonuma, Nintendo producer, has stated in a report of IGN, that they will keep Link in mind. He added that the impact of her role in the game has made the  developers to think of her for the next titles.  

The Legend of Zelda Wii U is going to be made available exclusively for Wii U as soon as it gets released. Meantime, Hyrule Warriors Legends is  going to be out on March 25, 2016 for 3DS. Preorders will be made available for $39.9.
