Elizabeth Olsen, perhaps best known for playing the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel's tentpole franchise, The Avengers and being the youngest Olsen sister, is the recent subject of speculation after her ex, Narcos star Boyd Holbrook opened up about their bad breakup.

The longtime couple, who have been dating for three years and ended up getting engaged, split in what Holbrook describes to Man of the World felt like 'a divorce.'

The devastating breakup call from Olsen arrived on the same day that Holbrook's best friend, photographer David Armstrong, died due to depression. Holbrook credits Armstrong for being the first person in his life to encourage him.

Post breakup, Holbrook then threw himself into work and travel. He left the apartment the former couple shared in Brooklyn to move upstate, focused on making films and taking motorcycle rides across Chile.

Meanwhile, Olsen has been linked to a couple of her Marvel leading men since the split. Briefly, the 26 year old was said to be dating Captain America himself, Chris Evans.

However, that rumor was quickly replaced by more aggressive speculation regarding a possible pairing between the villanous Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, who also stars with Olsen in I Saw the Light after the pair were spotted around London together.

In the film, she plays Audrey Mae Williams and the biopic is set to open in March.
