"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 Episode 10 will see the character of Damon Salvatore being affected by his mother's death.

According to the latest rumors for this episode, Damon will be playing the central role in the 10th episode that is titled "Hell is other people", as per news reports by Christian Post.

It is also rumored that Damon will find himself in almost every scene of the episode, according to Hollywood Hills. It does imply that the 10th episode of "The Vampire Diaries" is going to be solely about him.

In his recent interview, Ian Somerhalder talked about the thing that the fans should look forward to in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 Episode 10. He said that the upcoming episode can be considered a concept episode.

According to him, the episode will pay a lot of focus on his character. He further said that this episode is his favorite one so far, but not because it is based mainly on his character.

It is his favorite one because it was directed in a very artisan sort of way. From the wardrobe to the production, everything is on point in episode 10 of "The Vampire Diaries."

The actor also talked a little about the episode, revealing that it was basically a Civil War episode. His character is covered in dirt and gun powder in throughout most of the episode.

The actor also joked that he lost six pounds in a matter of six days while shooting for this episode. Ian also said that the viewers will also get to see a very different side of Damon in this episode.
