Police officers in Utah believe that Michael Cavallari, brother of reality TV star Kristen Cavallari and brother-in-law to NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, may have died because of the harsh cold weather.

Police discovered what is believed to be Cavallari's body Thursday in a rocky part of a remote park in southern Utah, two weeks after a rancher discovered an abandoned car near the area.
According to Grand County Sheriff Steven White, the area's harsh weather could have played a significant factor in his death, where the temperature could drop to below zero at night.
"I don't know what his mental state might have been, with possible hypothermia," White said.
The Utah medical examiner is slated to conduct a series of toxicology and other tests to find out the actual cause of Cavallari's death. The entire process would take as long as two months, according to White.
His remains were found near the bottom of a steep hillside filled with boulders, 3 miles northwest of where the car was discovered the morning of Nov. 27.
Kristen Cavallari was shattered over the death of her brother. On her Instagram post Thursday, Cavallari posted a picture herself and her brother when they were children, praising her brother for having a good heart and for making her laugh.
"I'm at a loss for words, but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace," she wrote. "I love u so much RIP."
Cavallari's best friend, meanwhile, said that Michael was getting his life back on track before he was found dead.
"He was doing that and doing real well," Bret Powers told PEOPLE.
"Everything seemed to be going well in his life, and I just don't know what caused this."
Powers also hailed the 30-year-old for being a great friend who could be depended upon.
"He's a goodhearted guy and he was always someone you could count on if you needed anything. He wasn't out for himself ever," he said Powers.
"Deep down inside he had a great heart and had a real good ambition in life and it's unfortunate he had to go this early. I'm still in shock."
