In her interview with the ET online, Rihanna said that she is definitely happy and in high spirit to be a part of this great cause to help, save, and change many lives.

The Diamond Ball raised more than $3 millions from tickets, sponsor tables, donations, and auction proceeds.

The singer stressed her foundation's mission, adding that she wants to do more for her global family. The singer said that one penny at a time, one donation at a time, one country at a time, and one child at a time.

The program included a special song performance by music legend Lionel Richie. It was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and featured a live auction to raise more funds for CLF.

The auction included a guitar autographed by Bono that sold at $75,000, which is the highest bid of the night, tickets to the New York Fashion Week launch of Rihanna's Puma collection, and artworks by Roy Nachum, the designer of Rihanna's new album. After the auction, Hart announced that the proceeds had raised more than $3 million, surpassing last year's total of $2 million.

The event also honored Michael Rapino, President/Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation. Rihanna presented him with the inaugural diamond honors award for his donation to CLF and charitable efforts.
