The Batman v Superman star Ben Affleck and the Layer Cake star Sienna Miller were seen holding hands while in between takes on the set of their new film Live by Night, causing fans to speculate whether there may be something romantic going on.

The 33-year-old actress and the 43-year-old actor both split from their respective partners this year.  The Argo star separated from Jennifer Garner after 10 years of marriage. The couple announced their separation a day after their tenth wedding anniversary.

Sienna Miller also suffered her own heartbreak as she split from fiancé Tom Sturridge this year after 4 years together. Miller and Tom began dating in 2011 and got engaged the following year after they announced that they were expecting their first child, Marlowe Ottoline Layng Sturridge, together.

Sources told E! News that the dating rumors may be premature as he is directing her and his movie - a  movie in which he stars in.

The pictures only heightened suspicion because both actors are separated. On the other hand, despite Ben and Jen's split, the actor has made effort to be with his family as much as possible. The former couple have vowed that despite their split they are going to prioritize their family and continue co-parenting their children.

An insider said that there are no signs of romance between them. They seem to get along well, and Ben has always been very professional. In the film, Ben had some special scenes with Sienna, including kissing scenes.

Affleck and Miller in the movie, Live by Night, portray love interests, which is based on the Dennis Lehane novel of the same name. It opens in theaters in 2017. Sources told TMZ that the actor's massive back tattoo, which was also spotted on the set, is 100 percent real.
