Fans of supermodel Lin Chi-ling and actor Jerry Yan are agog with anticipation and excitement as the former couple showed signs of softening up on their old bitter stance, and hinted at the possibility of a reconciliation.

Chi-ling had claimed that their breakup years ago was so bad she would never consider getting back together with Yan.

The former couple broke up in 2005 after Chi-ling fell off a horse and the actor blamed her for not being able to protect herself. There were also rumors that Yan was jealous of his Li-Ching's closeness to businessman Qiu Shi Kai.

While things didn't end well the first time, it now seems that the supermodel and actor have changed their minds and may be open to starting over.

"I don't know, I would like to ask him," Chi-ling said after being asked by media about the possibility of a second wind with Chan.

After hearing of Chi-ling's interview response, 38-year old Yan said that he was just waiting for her to give him a sign. He also hinted that if it came to the point that he finds the right person at the right time, he would no longer shy away from edia attention.

Yan had other romantic relationships after his breakup with Chi-ling, but admitted that his poor background and inferiority complex led to his inability to express affection and love in his relationships. He admits to being single at the moment.

The couple's fans have taken to social media to express and declare their support for a possible reconciliation, stating that Chi-ling and Yan should not give up on efforts at rekindling their romance.
