Xbox One gamers are thrilled following Studio Wildcard's creative Directer and co-founder Jess Rapczak announcement that 'Ark: Survival Evolved' will be coming to Xbox One.  

According to Rapczak, the game Ark: Survival Evolved has been arguably as one of the leading dinosaur games on the market today.

A week after its release, the game brought in over $10 million in revenue. The game was released for PC at $25 per physical disc. The game was originally for PC but then later on it was released in Mac and Linux.

The Xbox One version of Ark: Survival Evolved will be available on Dec. 16. The developer will release the Xbox One version with all the content that has been provided with every update for the PC version.

"Gamers want new experiences on their consoles, and we feel that Ark, which is one of the few dinosaur games on the market, and one of the only, if not the only true multiplayer survival games on console, will bring that fresh gaming experience that helps define this generation," said Rapczak in a statement. Rapczak added that XBox One players can also find the illusive Dodo among the dossier of dinosaurs.

The developer is giving a special content feature for XBox One players. Xbox One player who purchase the game will receive a series of "Founders content." The content includes an unlockable bionic ARK Founder's Hat skin, 'Tek' T-Rex skin, and ARK Founder's Trophy.

In addition, players who purchased the $34.99 Xbox Game Preview version will not have to re-buy the game, which, upon its release, will ultimately be priced higher. The developer has not yet announce the official price of Ark: Survival Evolved for Xbox One.

Studio Wildcard also said that they will be releasing a PlayStation 4 version of the game but no specific date has been reveal yet.
