BioShock Infinite developer Irrational Games is now hiring for its new game – a story-driven open world shooter.
Polygon reported that the studio, formerly known as Irrational Games, is expanding its team and is looking for a Gameplay Systems Designer and Tuner as well as a QA manager, who likes story-driven first-person shooter games.

According to the game developer, one of the requirements for potential applicants is experience with open-world games. Games such as the Borderlands series and Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor are cited as examples. These games, according to Polygon, gives fans an idea of the genre of the studio's next game.
Another requirement for both position is the knowledge of Unreal Engine 4.
Earlier this year, the studio also searched for a senior programmer to join the still unnamed project.
Last year, Irrational Games lost a lot of its staff. Although it shrunk to a smaller size, it still remained under its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, who also owns Rockstar and 2K Games.
During that time, the game studio's founder and creative director Ken Levine said that although it's not easy for him to lay people off, he has to lead the studio. He explained that in doing so he hoped they he can apply his energies on a smaller, but more focused group that will work on games catering to a core gaming audience.
These games, according to Levine, will be highly replayable.
Irrational Games is known for games such as System Shock 2 and BioShock, the latter of which became its springboard to fame. BioShock later received a sequel, BioShock Infinite.
Take-Two Interactive is reportedly planning on continuing the BioShock franchise, while Levine's new smaller yet unnamed group is heading on to another new direction.
