The Ice Bucket Challenge has been viral over the internet for many weeks now and for those who do not know, it is for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Fundraising campaign. ALS is a degenerative disease which usually hits the central nervous system and is said to be fatal.

But there will certainly be at least one celebrity jumping the bandwagon who won't do it the way others have done. And yes, that certain celebrity is no other than Charlie Sheen. Sheen recently videoed himself doing the challenge but instead of ice water being dumped on his head, he showered himself with money and it was reported that it amounted to US$10,000! All the money he dumped on his head would definitely go to the ALS Foundation.

TMZ released the video with Sheen saying that ice is going to melt but the money would really go to the people who need help. Clever and logical indeed!

The ice bucket challenge is a fundraising campaign wherein people are to video themselves dumping ice water on their heads, post the video online, then nominate three other people to do the challenge. Those nominated should do the challenge within 24 hours and if they fail to do so, they have to donate at least US$100 to the said association. As of today, the funds raised through this viral challenge has already reached US$15.6 million.

Aside from Sheen, other famous celebrities also did their part for the fundraising. Among these are Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber, and Steven Spielberg.

So who did Sheen nominate to take on the challenge? He called out Jon Cryer, Ashton Kutcher, and Chuck Lorre (gasp!) who are all from the series he was once part of "Two and a Half Men". He said in the video that the three men should do what he just did and ended it by saying that it is for a great cause.

Wow oh wow! Let's see the three top that or what their response is going to be about accepting the challenge. We will keep you posted once we hear any other ice bucket challenge takers.
