Taiwanese song bird Elva Hsiao has attended a music showcase the previous Tuesday, and during the event, the Canto Pop singer has denied that she is cohabiting with her boyfriend, Singaporean heir Elroy Cheo, and claimed that he likes her bare face.

Rumor has it that Elva Hsiao and her new beau, Elroy Cheo, who is also the brother-in-law of Taiwanese singer-actor Vanness Wu, were cohabiting. The couple was spotted shopping at a supermarket and people have speculated that the two were semi-cohabiting.

However, the 34-year old 'Shut Up and Kiss Me' singer denied the rumors when she was asked if Elroy Cheo was staying at her place when he visits Taiwan since the heir is currently based in Hangzhou.

"He sleeps at his sister's place or at a hotel," Elva Hsiao stated during an interview.

The singer added that she often shows her bare face to Elroy Cheo, claiming that she looks very different from what she looks like on TV compared to how she looks like in real life. Elva Hsiao shared that Elroy Cheo thinks that she looks friendlier and easier to get along with when she isn't wearing makeup.

The couple has been recently spotted shopping together in Taipei, but during the music showcase that the singer attended, she explained that they were both preparing for a gathering that evening. The actress proudly shared that she made 'Hsiao-style' sukiyaki with all her sincerity.

The actress also disagreed to the idea that men find it attractive that women are adept in the kitchen since she seems like she is a good cook. "No way! Messy hair and greasy smell is not attractive," Elva Hsiao said.

Still, she claimed that her cooking is loved by Elroy Cheo, saying that her boyfriend has good manner and is very easy-going so everything seems to be good to him.

When asked whether she is planning to get married soon, the singer stated that she has no plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon and that she is more inclined to pursuing what she wants at the moment.
