Xiaomi Mi5 will reportedly be one smartphone worth waiting for. The company is reportedly busy perfecting the user experience of the device.

The device is expected to sport an all metal body, along with a physical home button. This button will also act as a finger print scanner. It will also be equipped with a cloud lightening pay, which is the patent pay system of Xiaomi. The device is also expected to support NFC.

Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to sport a display screen of 5.2 inches along with a screen resolution of 1080p. It was earlier rumored to be equipped with QHD display, but sadly enough the rumors are false.

Xiaomi Mi 5 may sport Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 along with a 4 GB of RAM. The handset will be armed with a 16 mega pixel rear facing camera, in addition to a generous 8 mega pixel front facing camera. Rumors say that Xiaomi Mi5 will be equipped with a USB Type-C port as well.

The device is strongly expected to be running on the Android Marshmallow OS out of the box. In addition, it will come equipped with custom MIUI as well. The smartphone will be available in in silver, gold and rose gold colors. It is also expected to sport a battery capacity of 3,000 mAh along with 3D Force Touch kind of a patent technology.

Xiaomi Mi 5 release date is currently estimated to be Jan. 21, 2016. However, the Chinese tech company is yet to comment on this. Xiaomi phones are known for their high affordability, the Mi 5 is expected to be priced at $385 on its launch.
