This is Bundchen's eighth consecutive year of being the top supermodel when it comes to cold-hard cash.

Calculations for her income were based on earnings gained from June 2013 to June 2014 which includes profits she earned from endorsements and modeling work for cosmetics, fashion labels and, fragrances.

The model and mother of two overwhelmingly surpassed the second on the list, 29-year old Dutch model Doutzen Kroes and 33-year old Adriana Lima of "Victoria's Secret" fame. Lima and Kroes each earned $8 million before required fees and taxes, mere pocket change for Bundchen.

According to Forbes.com, the supermodel even earned $16 million more than her football athlete husband. "The Brazilian icon pocketed US$47 million in the last 12 months before taxes and fees," the website stated.

Bundchen's modeling contracts include campaigns for H&M, Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Ipanema.

Since 2001, Bundchen has earned $386 million in total from modeling.

Aside from Bundchen, Kroes and Lima, 40-year old Kate Moss and 22-year old Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton were also included in the top five highest earning supermodels.

22-year old English model Cara Delevingne and 22-year old Karlie Kloss were also part of the top 21 earners, with a combined total income of $142 million.

Although Bundchen has tons of cash to spend, it seems that the supermodel also takes time out for more worthy causes.

The supermodel is devoted to environmental causes, creating a "green" blog in 2008 and, is a supporter of many environmental initiatives including sustainability and clean water programs. As a pro-active advocate for a cleaner and better earth, Bundchen was designated Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 2009.
