Kit Chan has signed contracts in China after her stint in "I am a Singer 3"
Singer Kit Chan has practically won twice despite being eliminated from China's reality TV show "I Am A Singer 3".

On her experience, the singer says, "It was great simply because it was novel and a crazy challenge for me, what with an untapped market, an unfamiliar working environment and culture, and the reality show concept."
Even though she was the first contestant to be removed from the competition, her soulful rendition of songs such as Shino Lin's Tempting Heart and Leslie Cheung's Left And Right Hands have won her a new batch of admirers and fans. This has led into what was dubbed as a "very late-blooming relationship with China".
Her fans requested for her concert that was initially planned to take place in Singapore turned into a regional undertaking in Chinese cities.
After releasing her last album with Taihe Music Group, Kit Chan says: "When my serendipitous entry into China happened this year, it seemed natural to actually start expanding my reach and to assure that my future works reach my newfound Chinese fan too.
"And my own label could never do that. I wouldn't dream of doing that. It is a huge undertaking."
She plans to spend the holiday season at home as she believes that Christmas is to be spent with family, which she considers "everything that keeps me sane and happy".
Fans will be eagerly waiting her new all-original album, her first since 2004's East Towards Saturn.
