ZTE Axon Max Smartphone Goes on Sale in China This Month

Chinese company ZTE Mobile Devices has unveiled a new member of the Axon series, called the Axon Max, which will go on sale in the Chinese market sometime this month, with a price tag of $431.
The ZTE Axon Max is a high-end device that sports a premium design with an ultra-slim body made of aluminum titanium alloy. The phone is currently available in gold and measures 160 x 80 x 7.5mm in dimensions.

Specs-wise, the Axon Max has a 6.0-inch phablet size AMOLED display screen, with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution (Full HD). In terms of the camera, the handset comes with a 16 megapixel unit on the back along with a sharp 13 megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies.
The primary unit comes with an f/1.9 aperture (PDAF), while the front snapper comes with an f/2.2 aperture.
Under the hood, the Axon Max carries Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 chipset, a 64 bit octa-core CPU and an Adreno 405 GPU. The processor is accompanied by 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable built-in memory storage, and a whopping 4,140 mAh battery that can charge the device up to 60 percent in 30 minutes (Quick Charge 2.0).
Other features of the Axon Max include a rear fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM functionality, USB Type-C port, and an AK4961 24-bit ADC audio quality.
In addition, ZTE has introduced the Axon Max smartphone alongside its new feature, the Global VIP Passport, which will offer users in China a wide range of services.
The Chinese company hasn't announced when the Axon Max would be available in the international market.
