Fans had to wait a little longer than usual, as GTA typically releases their patches during the beginning of each month. Many felt this would finally be the update that would include GTA Online Heists, however, it seems that experience will not be available anytime soon.

Rockstar apologized for the wait saying it's taking more time to create Online Heists than they originally anticipated. Despite the news though, there are still some nice changes in the new GTA V 1.16 update.

More cash will be given to players participating in group-Contact Missions - Two players: 10 percent+ cash; Three players: 20 percent+ cash; Four players: 30 percent+ cash.

When replaying Contact Missions, cash rewards used to be reduced by 50 percent. With the new update, players will be able to attain the full cash reward for completing a replayed Mission every time.

Among the changes, the update will also be adding 8 new jobs and 8 new races. Contact Missions' cash payouts will reportedly increase overall, as GTA rebalanced cash and RP depending on mission difficulty and the amount of time it took to complete the mission. 

As expected, the San Andreas Flight School is now available in GTA Online. Located at the Los Santos International Airport with an icon of a plane on the map, any players ranked six and above will be able to participate in the ten new flying lessons.

No more unexpectedly crossing paths with tanks and being blown to pieces, as a "Tank icon" will show up on the map for any tanks in the area.

Here's a list of some of the items that have been added with the update as well:

-Two Planes and one helicopter: Buckingham Mil-Jet, Western Besra, and Buckingham Swift

-New Vehicle - Invetero Coquette Classic

-Reserve Parachute

-Multiple canopy designs including Air Force, Desert, Airborne and 25 new flag themed parachute bags
