For a limited time, the Nutcracker theme park will be open at Shanghai Expo site on the first day of January up to March 6, 2016. The highly-anticipated attraction will offer a unique fairytale ice kingdom for children and adults without the need to go farther north.
The park will be brought to China by the International Special Attractions from the United States. The organizers want to recreate the classic fairy tale of the Nutcracker and The Mouse King for the people to experience fun in the cold snow.

The company is bringing the popular ice kingdom with dedicated ice sculptures from the U.S. to China for the first time. The said ice sculptures have been on display for the last 15 years all over the U.S.
Each section features a distinct story motif that depicts Chinese cultural stories and famous Chinese mythological characters. Expect to see popular Chinese characters come alive in the park's many attractions.
Aside from ice displays of popular story characters from famous fairy tales, visitors can enjoy rides and attractions such as the giant ice slide, a freezing snow playground, an enjoyable bumper car ride on the ice and the curling bowling game for both adults and children to feel the frozen and snowy feeling in the park.
International Special Attraction (ISA) was established in 1989, and over the past two decades has become a world leader in the production of large-scale special attractions. The 3000-square-meter indoor theme park is set to thrill Chinese audiences come opening day.
