Who would forget William Hung who auditioned in American Idol with just the right amount of confidence as he sang "She Bangs" by Ricky Martin?
William did not move on to the next level but he definitely got the 'yes' he wanted - from his lady love.
RumorFix reported that Hung got married on June 17 in Alhambra California, and that he really quit the music industry. Hung is now working for the L.A. County Department of Public Health as an administrative assistant.

Hung auditioned on the third season of American Idol in 2004, and his performance had been one of the first to ever go viral in a big way. This, despite Simon Cowell's saying that he can't sing nor dance.
Hung took Cowell's criticism in stride at the time, saying he gave it his best and had no regrets, which earned him positive feedback from the two other judges of the show.
In the now infamous video of Hung's rendition of "She Bangs", he introduced himself as a Civil Engineering student at UC Berkeley, whose major did not have anything to do with singing, but that he wanted to make singing as his source of income.
He was 20 and self-assured. It sounded all correct, except his notes weren't.
Nonetheless, Hung managed to record three albums which earned US$200,000, US$35,000 and US$7,000, respectively.
He also appeared in several major events and was cast in several films, including a guest appearance in "George Lopez" and "Arrested Development".
A decade later, William Hung is back, this time with a bride in tow, and the picture of wedded bliss likewise made it around the Internet, in a big way.
Here's a look back at William Hung's American Idol audition to get you inspired a little, taking up from the inspirational messages he posted on his fan page: never let criticism get the better of you.
