Israel resumed airstrikes towards Gaza strip that killed the wife and child of Gaza's military chief Mohammed Deif, Palestinian medics claimed on Wednesday.
Hamas’s exiled deputy leader Moussa Abu Marzouk confirmed the death of a 40-year-old woman and two-year-old girl who were believed to be the wife and daughter of the Brigades commander, reports said.

Spokesman for the local emergency service Ashraf al Kidra said that the two victims died when a house was struck in Gaza.
After Palestinian militants fired three rockets in open areas in the city of Beersheba, the Israeli security forces retaliated and hit more than 15 targets in Gaza strip, local media reported.
In Israel’s air raids in town of Deir el-Balah, Southern part of Gaza, eight people were reportedly hurt, emergency services said.
Furthermore, building housing offices of Hamas's Al Asqa TV station was also struck in a separate airstrike of Israeli troops and leaves 21 people injured.
Hamas’s armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, warned the Israelis saying the Jewish state would pay the price for their crimes. Quoting Israel opened the gates of hell on itself, some reports said.
Based on some reports, a series of rockets fired to Israel hours before the end of the recent ceasefire. Because of that, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered airstrikes on Gaza condemning the attacks as a direct violation of the truce.
Netanyahu spokesman Mark Regev told the media that the rocket fire destroyed the foundation of the negotiations in Cairo.
However, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said if PM Netanyahu doesn't comprehend the language of politics in Cairo they will make him understand it, indicating of more rocket fire to Israel.
Hamas threatened to fire more rockets at Israel’s main airport, making it a target of attack, on Wednesday, saying it is their way of responding to Israeli’s aggression, some reports confirmed.
