Support increases for Ferguson officer Darren Wilson as recent reports say a new witness appeared to give her version of events before the shooting.

A woman named 'Josie' called Radio America on Monday, claiming to know what really happened on August 9 when an unarmed teen was shot by a police officer. The shooting incident has incited unrest over the streets of Ferguson, Missouri.

During the account made on "The Dana Show," Josie stated that the 18-year-old victim, Michael Brown, allegedly tried to take Officer Wilson's gun and engaged the officer in a struggle when the firearm went off.

Brown then ran away as the Ferguson police officer yelled at him to freeze. Upon hearing the command from Wilson, the unarmed teen turned and started tossing him.

"He just started coming at him full speed, and so he just started shooting and he just kept coming," Josie added.

CNN sources stated that Josie's statement 'accurately matched' Wilson's account of the incident.

Meanwhile, some Wilson supporters have created two Facebook groups expressing their utmost support and belief in the police officer's innocence.

"We stand behind Officer Darren Wilson and his family during this trying time in their lives," a statement on a GoFundMe.com account created to raise $100,000 financial support for Wilson's family said.

One of the donors, named Nancy Lawson, had donated $20 and expressed her gratitude to the Ferguson officer for 'risking his life' to make the community a safer place.

Another comment from a Mike Allgire read, "As a retired police officer, I would have shot him also. The police are not out there to see who can wipe who, but to keep the peace."

Around 850 donors have pledged over $32,000 in support of the police officer, who is currently under social contempt.

Administrators for GoFundMe.com had disabled comments to impede negative comments being posted on the website.

Prosecutors are set to present evidence in a grand jury on Wednesday, promising to give Officer Wilson a chance to defend himself against the allegations.
