'Sherlock: The Abominable Bride' Tops in China, Watch Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman via Live Streaming

Sherlock: The Abominable Bride topped the box office in several countries including China.
Fans of the Sherlock Holmes franchise are thrilled to ring in the new year with their favorite duo in 'Sherlock: The Abominable Bride.'
The Sherlock holiday special is not really a continuation of the actual series. Fans will see Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Watson (Martin Freeman) imagined in London during the 1890s in The Abominable Bride. This is a tribute to the original Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. Characters, who feature in the holiday special include Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves), Mary Morstan (Amanda Abbington) and Mrs. Hudson (Una Stubbs). 'Sherlock: The Abominable Bride' will satisfy fans who are waiting for season 4 and excite them to see the original Sherlock stories for the first time.

The Sherlock holiday special was an international box office hit in different countries including China and Korea where it took the number two spot. It was released in over 20 countries, including Taiwan, Australia and the U.S.
According to BBC Worldwide, 1.7 million viewers in China saw the episode on Monday, earning $5.39 million in the cinema. The run is part of the agreement between Shanghai Media Group and BBC Worldwide to show this episode and an additional 25 minutes of exclusive footage that will not be shown on television. In China, there were 98 million viewers of the 2014 series with hundreds of millions viewing across 200 territories.
While PBS currently does not have an official live stream service, the PBS website gave a link for live streaming which you can find right here. The Sherlock holiday special starts at 9 PM ET/PT until 10:30 PM ET/PT. Fans can also keep up via social media by using the hashtag #Sherlock.
