Huawei Introduces Mate 8 Phablet at CES 2016

Huawei has introduced the Mate 8 Phablet at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas after several weeks of speculations.
The Chinese based company was ranked the third largest Smartphone manufacturer in the world in the current market. Last year, the company was notable for its highly anticipated devices such as the Nexus 6P, Mate 8 and Huawei Watch.

With its domination in the market, the company decided to bring its devices to the CES 2016 in Las Vegas to introduce its product to other markets.
"With the Mate 8, we have delivered a device that meets the needs of a new style of business. With this fast, impeccably designed Smartphone, users can work more efficiently and free up valuable time to spend with friends, family and on personal pursuits. The Mate 8 is the ultimate high-end Smartphone. It strikes the perfect balance between high performance and long battery life, enabling people to stay connected and be more productive in every facet of their lives," said Kevin Ho, President of Handset Product Line at Huawei Consumer BG.
Huawei Mate 8 Phablet is the latest and greatest Huawei has to offer in the CES 2016. The handset features a 6-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display screen that is made out of metal. The device is powered by Kirin 950 64-bit octa-core processor (Huawei's own chipset which was announced quite recently and considered one of the most powerful mobile processors currently available in the market) paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage model.
The device rear camera sports a 16-megapixel OIS and an 8-megapixel front selfie camera. The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and has fingerprint scanner capability. Mate 8 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with pre-installed Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) 4.0 on top of it. It uses dual-SIM slot that is compatible with 4 2G bands, 9 3G bands and 18 4G bands in 217 countries and regions with 1,334 operator settings.
Huawei Mate 8 Phablet comes in different colors such as Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Mocha Gold, and Champagne Gold. The device will soon be available all over the world with the price tag of €599 and €699.
