Along with the recent announcement that Verizon will exclusively offer the HTC One M8 Windows Phone, it all required some time for news to break out that AT&T will also offer HTC's Windows Phone version.

AT&T has confirmed through their newsroom that the latest HTC One smartphone will be a part of their Windows Phone 8.1 lineup of devices, though it didn't state when it would be available.

The news informs AT&T customers that the HTC One M8 Windows phone comes in a brand new look that is definitely unique when compared with Windows Phone versions in the market.

According to PC Advisor, the HTC One M8 specs include a 5-inch full HD screen, a microSD card slot, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core processor, 2GB RAM and a 32GB storage.

It is also packed with a Duo cam with its front camera at 5MP. It also has an 11ac WiFi, IR blaster, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G LTE network support.

Daily Tech shares their opinion though that AT&T will most probably price it with a similar cost. Their announcement of also getting the HTC One M8 may be intended to immediately take out the spotlight from Verizon when it initially announced its exclusive offer.

The HTC One M8 Windows Phone had its fresh release on August 19 at a New York based event. The only difference it has from the previous HTC One M8 is that the newer model runs the Windows Phone 8.1.

It is already available for sale online, specifically via Verizon in the US. Initially, the phone is exclusively offered only within the US region and no news yet has been released with regards to its UK availability.

For now, AT&T subscribers must stay in touch for the start date and price of the HTC One M8's availability under their network.
