Hong Kong actress Kristal Tin, who plays the role of the leading lady in the TVB drama thriller "Black Heart White Soul," claims that it hasn't been an easy job portraying the character.
"Black Heart White Soul" has been receiving positive and satisfying reviews over the course of its airing time. Roger Kwok and Ron Ng have both commented on the characters that they translate in the drama, stating that it was difficult playing them. It seems like it was not a different case where Kristal Tin is concerned.

The 34-year old actress plays the lead female role in the thriller drama. Her character in "Black Heart White Soul" is named Tam Mei Ching, a woman who has given up on life after being sent to prison for something she hasn't done.
Kristal Li said that the character she is portraying struggles with too many internal conflicts, and the actress says that she finds this as a reflection of her own life, according to reports.
In the TVB drama, Tam Mei Ching is supposedly a woman who has undergone a very drastic change in emotions and personality, which makes it a rather difficult task for Kristal Li to be precisely immersed in the character.
Kristal Li has also expressed her opinion that the drama's production has invested much thought on people's morals and conscience, saying that there were a lot of grey areas that people are subjected to in real life and that not everything is exclusively black or white.
Another character which is constantly seen with that of Kristal Li's is Lau Miu, Tang Mei Ching's best friend. Lau Miu is being translated by actress May Chan.
When asked about the character of May Chan, Kristal Li explained that the production team added Lau Miu into the list of characters in order to provide a contrast to that of her character.
Kristal Li's character is supposed to redeem that of May Chan's from her bad deeds and help her get back on track.
The drama is said to air its final episode on August 22.
