‘Men, Women and Children’ Releases Its First Trailer

The issues that surround the society's use of the Internet and social networking services along with it is being tackled by the new film, 'Men, Women and Children' which released its first teaser August 19.
Paramount Pictures has released the new and first teaser for the upcoming film 'Men, Women and Children' by Jason Reitman which features the connectivity of people through social networking sites and other Internet applications and the irony that it disconnects individuals from others.

The two-minute teaser which the film company has revealed shows a group of high school students and their parents, constantly logged in to their social networking accounts. Although the teaser doesn't provide any kind of dialogue for the viewers, what the actors have to say were rendered on-screen through pop up graphics.
The characters were shown being unable to express themselves in real life but having so much to say through the Internet using instant messaging applications, e-mails, text messages, blog posts, etc.
'Men, Women and Children' was based on a novel that goes with the same title, written by Chad Kultgen. The book as well as the film is of the comedy-drama genre although it shows the seriousness of how the Internet has affected the lives of people in the modern society.
The film includes A-list actors Jennifer Garner and Adam Sandler, along with 'The Fault in Our Stars' actor Ansel Elgort in its cast. The film follows the life of these different individuals and how they make their way through the Internet. It also shows how their lives and relationships have been affected as well as their image as people.
With the release of the trailer, Paramount is also encouraging supporters and film enthusiasts to share their reactions and opinions to the teaser on Whisper which is an application that allows users to share their thoughts without revealing their identities.
The Internet era film was also chosen as one of the featured movies for the TIFF, scheduled for its world premiere in September and will hit theatres in October.
