Tech giant Apple Inc. is preparing to open two new Apple Stores in China on Jan. 16., as part of its plan to set up 40 retail shops across the country.

According to Apple Insider, the Apple Store in Nanjing will be based inside the IST shopping mall in Xuanwu District, while the second outlet will be located at the Parc Central retail block in Tianhe District.
Both of these stores will operate daily from 10:00 a.m. up to 10:00 p.m. local time.
The new move by Apple comes after it recently opened new stores in the city of Nanning, Beijing, Chengdu and Shenyang. On Jan. 14, Xiamen will also see a new store opening up at the SM Lifestyle Center shopping mall in Siming District, according to MacRumors.
In addition to China, the tech giant recently announced its plans to open new shops in Mexico and Argentina as well, for the Latin American region. As of this time, there are only two Apple Stores in the region, located in Brazil.
The company said on Friday, "We are very excited to begin the process of hiring the team that will open our first Apple Store in Mexico, a country rich in art, culture and history. We are excited to provide our valued customers in Mexico City service, training and entertainment that Apple customers around the world love."
