Recently, the name of "Wang Lin" keeps appearing in the headlines of various Chinese websites and newspapers. The so-called "Qigong Master" once was a legendary person who used to make contact with many officials, bosses and celebrities. When Wang Lin was young, he was found guilty of fraud and was put in prison for many years. It is surprising that such a person can become a favorite to some officials. Who helps to popularize him?
According to an acquaintance with Wang Lin, since the early 1990s, Wang Lin has become a favorite to some local officials. It was a special honor if they could watch Wang Lin to produce a snack from a empty basin at that time. As time goes on, Wang Lin was vaunted to be an all-powerful "Master".
Wang Lin is some officials' spiritual opium. Some officials are slack on their jobs; some officials are in the doldrums; some are even guilty of corruption and accepting bribes. Of course, such officials won't feel safe mentally. So they have a superstitious belief in ghosts and spirits. They are enthusiastic about praying for the god's protection and believing in fortunetellers to tell them how to win promotion and get rich. Wang Lin takes advantage of that and accumulates a large amount of wealth. Those officials obey Wang Lin's every word, and treat him as a brother. What a shame!
Some officials take Wang Lin as their last straw. As Chinese saying goes, "if you didn't do wrong, you will be not afraid of ghosts knocking at the door." Just because some officials do something wrong and feel guilty, they pray for the god's protection. However, they contrive to make matters worse at last.
So far, we haven't find out any "Masters" who can save people's lives and educate the corrupt officials to stop doing wrong. We just see a swindler who plays inferior and deceitful tricks to cheat the public. For those officials who don't believe in Marxism-Leninism, but in ghosts, it's time to wake up. It is unreliable to protect your life and properties by believing in ghosts and spirits. The only way to save you is to be an honest, straightforward person and serve your people wholeheartedly.
