This breakout role opened the doors for Yeung to earn several television awards such as the 'Most Improved Actress' in 2003, 'Best Supporting Actress' in 2008 and 'Best Actress' in 2012. However, she has not received any recent awards following her trailblazing success in 2012.
Yeung's mates in TVB such as Myolie Wu, Kate Tsui and Fala Chen have already left the network to venture new projects.
This has added weight to speculations that she will follow their steps the next few years.

Following Yeung's performance in the drama 'The Emperor's Haven', she cemented her popularity in mainland China.
While there is a possibility that Yeung may leave TVB soon, she may also use the multi-million dollar offer as leverage to modify clauses in her contract with TVB - should she decide to renew it.
Yeung revealed in an interview that she is interested in investing in expensive properties. A media source recently spotted the actress 'window shopping' with her friends for a new car. The actress is allegedly interested in buying a Porsche Cayenne S, in addition to her White Land Rover vehicle. She may be on the verge of signing a multi-million dollar contract afterall.
