Gionee Launches Gionee S Plus Smartphone in Nigeria

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has launched its latest smartphone -- the Gionee S Plus -- in Nigeria.
The device was first launched in China in November last year. It is the latest addition to the Gionee S series, which has enjoyed much success in the market thus far. According to Gionee, the device is designed to make the process of communication simple for consumers.

The device will suit the needs of consumers who want great specs in a smartphones at an affordable price, and without comprising on the looks of the device.
The device comes standard with the standard configuration of 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded up to 128 GB with a micro SD card. The device is powered with a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor.
Gionee S Plus sports a 13 mega pixel primary camera along with a 5 mega pixel rear camera. It is powered with a massive removeable 3150 mAh battery.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen along with a screen resolution of 720 pixels. The screen is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for durability and stability.

The Gionee S Plus is expected to soon be updated with the latest operating system - Android Marshmallow.
