Mandy Wong's BFF Myolie Wo tied the knot in December last year. But that does not mean Mandy will tie the knot soon. Mandy is not yet ready to enter the world of married couples, even if she was the lucky one who caught the bridal bouquet at her friend's wedding.

Another reason why Mandy does not want to get married this year is because 2016 is not a great year for marriage. "I don't think so...heard from people in my parents' generation that this year is not an auspicious year for marriage," Mandy said. Also, she also has no idea what exact time was she born. In Chinese tradition, it is very important that you know the time of your birth because it will give you an idea if when is the best time you should get married. "I have a feeling my mom remembered the time of my birth incorrectly," she explained.

She also says that she has no plans of going to fortune-tellers. "If it's negative, you won't feel good. It's better to be surprised or to let nature take its course," she continued. 

"Well we both know that it's not happening anytime soon," she said, explaing that she and her boyfriend will know when is the right time for them to settle down. As for now, Many is busy with her career and is currently working on a new project. 

Perhaps, Mandy will only get marry after she achieves the feat she so desires? That is to win the TV Queen award. However, Mandy feels that she will restrict her capabilities if she thinks of that. 

"I won't restrict myself in that way," she said. She also hinted her desires of appearing on stage or in live shows soon, so that may also keep her even busier this year.
