Thousands of Internet users in China are making an American boy's dream come true --- to become famous in China.
The 8-year-old boy named Dorian Murray, based in Connecticut, has opted to stop his ongoing treatment against cancer. He has been fighting rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer, since he was 4 years old.

A Facebook page "Praying for Dorian" managed by his family posted on Jan. 11 that Dorian dreams of becoming famous in China because of the Great Wall. The post further asks people in China and other nations to send photos so Dorian would know that he is now known internationally.
Dorian reportedly told his parents that he wants to be renowned in the "bridge of China," (the Great Wall). "I'm just thinking before I go to heaven to try to be famous as much as I can," Dorian said.
After his family complied with his request, photos of people on the Great Wall holding signs that read #D-strong began pouring in - despite the fact that Facebook is blocked in China. The little boy's wish has been shared thousands of times across Facebook with the hashtag #D-strong.
He even trended on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, where a number of users shared his story.
Dorian's mother said she is amazed at the tremendous amount of response her son's plea for help has received. "Dorian has brought so much inspiration to people, around the world! I couldn't be more proud of my son," she said.
