So what do you guys think about Nicki Minaj's Official Music Video which was released yesterday? Minaj's bootylicious cover art for her single definitely compensates for the whole video and as the critics put it, it was both H-O-T and N-O-T! 

The audio track of the hit single 'Anaconda' has been released earlier this month and now the video has arrived. The content of the video is definitely explicit and it has been trending overnight on Twitter. The tweets ranged from positive to negative.

The video contained a lot of scenes where Minaj flaunted her backside and people were both loving and hating it. The video was released on YouTube at midnight and it already has over five million views. Minaj did not disappoint her fans but a lot of people raised their brows over the scorching hot video.

Here's a tweet from Kimberly Gillespie: "Nicki Minaj is trashy as hell nowadays. If there was any question whether Iggy was better or not, anaconda just made it clear.#teamIGGY".

And here's another tweet disapproving of Minaj's "racy" video from Lerato Mthethwa: "Nicki Minaj's Anaconda is the worst song she's ever released Hot garbage its really, really Really Baaaad but the boys will enjoy the video."

Crystal Bosset tweeted her concern on how the video may affect the elderly: "Nicki Minaj anaconda video could give an ol man a heart attack....."

Others were far more accomodating. A Twitter user named Mac Daddy tweets "I love the anaconda music video drake was one lucky guy @NICKIMINAJ".

A fan named Panda Friend said the new video was everything she had hoped it would be.

Aside from random people loving and hating the video, Sir Mix-A-Lot praised Minaj for a job well done. Mix-A-Lot took it to Twitter that he watched the video 37 times and all he could say was "DAAAAMNNN". He described Minaj as incredible.

The Anaconda video has topped Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" since its release on YouTube. As news came out that Minaj will be perfoming at the VMAs, clearly the question on everyone's mind is... will she be performing "Anaconda" live?
