Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan has introduced the club's newest coach in the person of the Italian Alberto Zaccheroni, a Serie A veteran manager.
Zaccheroni is best known for having managed a number of top caliber clubs in the Italian's premiere football league competition. In 1999, he won the Italian Football Championship with the league's giant AC Milan.

The Italian manager is also renowned for his unconventional and trademark 3-4-3 tactical system. The football formation was famously used by the Premiere side Liverpool during the second half of the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final to come back from a three-goal-deficit under the Spanish manager Rafael Benitez.
According to CCTV, the 62-year-old Zaccheroni put on a Guoan scarf and greeted the audience. He was joined by the new foreign additions of the side - the best player of Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A Renato Augusto; defensive midfielders from Corinthians, Ralf Teles and Kleber Pinheiro and Beijing Guoan returnee Egor Krimets from Uzbekistan.
"I think the level of the Super League is already pretty high and you can see that from the players that each club have introduced in the last two years. Before, many foreign players were all at their end of their careers, but now every club is introducing very high level foreign players in their prime," Zaccheroni said.
Beijing Guoan is a professional Chinese football club that currently competes in the country's highest tier of football. The side is based in the Chaoyang District in Beijing. The Imperial Guards finished fourth place the league's last season.
Due to higher salaries and the improved standard of the Chinese Super League, China has become an increasingly alluring destination for international players and coaches.
