Aaron Kwok Promotes 'The Monkey King 2'

Actor Aaron Kwok recently promoted his latest film The Monkey King 2 with a mini mall concert in Hong Kong.

"In my 20 years in the industry, I have not starred in such a challenging film. The role demanded a lot from me, both physically and mentally. But, I am sure that I will not have any regrets in my acting career after being in this film," he said during the interview.
The Monkey King 2 is one of the most highly anticipated films this year. The story is based on a novel by Wu Cheng'en entitled 'Journey to the West.' The Monkey King 2 is a sequel to the 2014 box office hit The Monkey King, which was directed by Donnie Yen. It follows the story of the previous film's main antagonist - portrayed by Kwok.
Aside from Kwok, the film also stars Chung Him Law, Feng Shaofeng and Xiao Shenyang.
In a recent interview, Shaofeng spoke about making the film and an injury that he had suffered on set
"I was riding a horse and then Xiao's character arrives with a group of beauties, he ended up frightening the horse and my mind just went blank after I fell and I had to take ten days off set," he said.
The Monkey King 2 will hit Chinese theatre's on February 5, 2016.
