Ip Man 3 star Donnie Yen is popularly known for martial art stunts in his movies. Yen's stoic face when he faces and defeats his opponents has cemented his career as a top-billed martial arts star. However, Yen completely showed a different aspect of himself when him and his wife Cecilia Wang were officially presented as the new ambassadors for Singapore's Resorts World Sentosa.

Yen is proud that his recent movie 'Ip Man 3' dethroned 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' in the top spot of the Singapore box office for the past two weeks.
Ip Man 3 was declared as the top grossing Chinese film in Singapore as it made over $765,000 (5 million RMB) on Christmas.
The actor revealed that he felt flattered and quite surprised at the same time since the 'Ip Man 3' movie has 30 fewer prints as compared to the sci-fi Hollywood blockbuster.
In China, Ip Man 3 set the record for being the first movie to reach $5 million (32 million RMB) revenue in just 11 days and eventually bringing in a total of $5.7 million of earning since its debut last Christmas.
"I know our franchise has a strong following and I believed Ip Man would do well," said Yen.
The actor thanked his Singapore fans for the strong support and revealed that they are the 'reason why they will continue to work hard'.
Yen also clarified rumors about leaving the Ip Man franchise as a lot of other movie offers are on his plate. The actor stated that he believes that he still has the capacity to do a few more films along with a lot more maturity in his acting skills as well.
Yen will star in the upcoming Hollywood movie 'Star Wars Rogue One' and also plays a major role in the 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' sequel.
