In a recent interview regarding the new NBA 2k15 video game coming out soon, Houston Rockets superstar James Harden called himself the best all-around player in the NBA.
He was joined by Team USA teammates Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, and former teammate Kevin Durant.
He praised each of the player's abilities, saying that Curry was the best pure shooter, Davis the best blocker, Durant as the best scorer. He topped off the praises stating he was the best all-around basketball player.

Since leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder, the offensive Phenom has since made waves with the Rockets. He started the 2012-2013 season with 25.9 points, 5.8 assists, 4.9 rebounds per game, and the feat of leading the Rockets to the playoffs for the first time since 2009.
He shares the achievement of maintaining his points, assists, and rebounds for a season before reaching his 25th birthday with NBA greats, notably Lebron James, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade, and Oscar Robertson, to name a few.
A year after that, when Dwight Howard joined the team, he showed his improvement with an increase of assist rates, field goal and free throw percentages, and a decrease in turnovers per minute.
Critics though are skeptical about Harden's statements. While his offensive prowess is feasibly unparalleled, he lacks in defensive capacities.
He did offer some concession to that fact, saying that he was working on catching up to guys like James,Paul George, and Kobe Bryant.
Currently, Harden is preparing for the FIBA World Cup, and taking on a new responsibility as one of the team's more central players who can visibly lead the team.
Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski had nothing but good things to say about Harden, noting his maturity and adding that he is as good a leader as they've had for the team.
Krzyzewski added that the players in Team USA can only get better because they go to new places and face newer odds.
"...whether it be in a subordinate role at times, a leadership role, the key player, the good talker, or whatever. James checks every box," Krzyzewski said of Harden.
