The upcoming main event for UFC Macau between Cung Le and Michael "The Count" Bisping will be followed by enhanced testing for performance-enhancing Drugs (PEDs).
The testing will take one step up from regular urine testing by adding the test to a fighter's blood.
Bisping requested the test after seeing a picture of Le go viral where he sported a lean and ripped physique. He initially had doubts as to the UFC handling the situation.

However, in a recent interview with Dana White, MMA journalist Ariel Helwani let the public know that the UFC is pushing forward with the enhanced testing.
Since the fight will be in Macau, China does not recognize any athletic commission to oversee the bout. This means that the card will be under no sports commissions' jurisdiction.
The UFC has stepped up and will be handling and paying for the testing themselves, acting as the governing body for this card. They will also act to sanction bouts, assign referees and judges, and enforce the penalties for failed testing.
In Le's defense though, he said that the picture was real. He stated that he had just finished an intense workout, losing six pounds, and the picture was taken right after he had stepped on the scale and flexed.
Bisping, on the other hand, is wary about the testing the fighters are put through. In his past forays, he has since lost to Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, and Wanderlei Silva, three fighters who have recently tested positive for Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).
These losses at key points of his career moved him to thoroughly question the process fighters were being put through to test for PEDs.
This fight against Le will mark the 21st appearance of Bisping in the Octagon. Despite his extended stay in the UFC, he has yet to reach the number one contender status and challenge for a title.
A win over Le will give Bisping the distinction of most fights won in the UFC. He hopes to get back in the win column, and hopefully, on the road to the title.
