A wild scene erupted in a Beijing subway train station when a young woman, apparently at the end of her tether over her boyfriend's excessive iPhone use, attacked him.
Images of the phone-fracas taken by bewildered commuters show a play-by-play of the girlfriend at first becoming increasingly frustrated with her partner's nonstop game-playing and photo-taking. Reaching her critical mass point, the woman then made a grab for the device, resulting in a tussle between the two in the train car. Photos on-line show the man seemed to be making a joke out of the whole situation by taking selfies, enraging his righteously indignant girlfriend even more.

"She just flipped out and tried to grab the phone off him and when that failed, she had been forced to drag him onto the carriage before the doors closed," said witness Wang Fen. "She was shouting a lot and telling him to let go of the phone."
Locking her hands on the phone, which was also still firmly in the grip of her beau, the woman proceeded to trip the man and literally drag him bodily out of the train and into the station across the floor. In one picture, the woman is seen bracing her foot against the man's face to get him to release the phone.
While many thought the flying hands and shouting between the couple was a real fight, others found the melodramatic situation almost too good, and too ridiculous, to be true. Several witnesses wondered if the tug-of-war between the sexes was in fact staged as a particularly physical publicity stunt and/or photo-op. While initially seeming like an actual lover's spat, onlookers saw the girlfriend increasingly grow more and more lighthearted even as she wrestled with her boyfriend and dragged him onto another train.
