Chinese smartphone and computer manufacturer Lenovo has announced that it has sold 10,000 Mobile VR Bundles in less than a second.

Lenovo recently followed HTC and Samsung's steps and introduced its own version of virtual reality head gear. To promote its devices in the market, the company recently ran a promotional sale of the Lenovo K4 Note Note (a mid-range model only available in India) and ANTVR headset.

The company started a flash sale for the bundle in India and almost half a million people (480,566 specifically) reportedly sign up for the event. The bundle was only limited to 10,000 units, but what makes it most impressive is that it sold out in 0.9 seconds.

Oculus VR creator also unveiled its headset sales earlier this month. Palmer Luckey, the company's CEO and chief instigator of the virtual reality movement, recently said "I can't talk about numbers, but we sold through in 10 minutes what I thought we were going to sell through in a few hours, which is one of the reasons the site was beginning to buckle."

Meanwhile, Samsung's consumer version of the Gear VR has beena grand success upon its release. Online shopping site Amazon and Best Buy both reported that the headset sold out within 24 hours of its release. Samsung's Virtual Reality headset is still available on the company's official website.

The beginning of 2016 is providing to be dotted with the launch of various virtual reality devices. HTC is expecting non-mobile platforms to provide ten percent of its total revenue this year as well, and consumers can trust that the VR headset HTC Vive is accounted for in those expectations.
