Exes Taylor Swift and John Mayer run into each other at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. Swift says she was horrified upon seeing her ex but Mayer did not comment on this.

According to a source, Swift felt as if she saw a ghost when she saw Meyer and wanted to leave, but decided to just ignore her ex while all the while feeling uncomfortable.

The two were in a short-lived romantic relationship five years ago and continued to give a shade against each other as they produced song after song after song.

When the two were dining at separate tables in the said restaurant, Swift and Mayer appeared to still be holding grudges against each other. Both left the Chateau Marmont in separate hired cars.

TMZ reported that both did not say a single word as they dined for the evening. Swift was pictured at the back of her hired car and her guards were on the front seats. Swift was seen smiling as she talked to someone over the phone. Meyer was wearing a velvet jacket with dark framed glasses.

Swift released a single back in 2010 entitled "Dear John", and Meyer said he was "humiliated" by the lyrics which people guessed referenced their short-lived romance.

Meyer told Rolling Stones that he never got an e-mail or a phone call from Swift. He said he was caught off-guard and it humiliated him at that time. The lyrics of Swift's song reads: 'Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong / Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?'

When the two started dating, Swift was just 21 and Meyer was 32.

In 2013, Meyer released a song called "Paper Doll" which was speculated to be a response to Swift's 'Dear John'. The lyrics reads: 'You're like 22 girls in one / And none of them know what they're running from / Was it just too far to fall for a little paper doll?'

After their break-up, Meyer dated Katy Perry while Swift dated Zac Efron, the late Cory Monteith and Harry Styles.
