ZTE Grand X3 Smartphone Officially Arrives in Cricket Wireless for $129.99

Cricket Wireless has announced that the Chinese smartphone ZTE Grand X3 is now available on for purchase for the price of $129.99.
The company's latest Android phone is a mid-range ZTE device with a spacious display and USB Type-C port. In addition, ZTE Grand X3 smartphone will have a discounted price at Cricket Wireless on Friday.

ZTE Grand X3 smartphone was first introduced at CES earlier this month. It features a big screen and a budget-friendly $130 retail price. The device comes with a 5.5-inch 1,280 x 720 pixel display resolution and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor. The handset features 2GB of RAM and a built-in 16GB internal storage and is fueled by 3,080mAh capacity battery.
What make this smartphone more interesting are its front and rear Dolby Audio speakers. The device also supports a reversible charging port, which according to the company, promises quicker and hassle-free replenishing.
The device features is only ordinary in build. It runs an older version of Android, 5.1 Lollipop. It is the latest in a wave of affordable phones packing with decent functionality. According to ZTE, this device is intended for consumers who are not looking to empty their wallet on the latest premium handset. These phones are showing up at prepaid services like Cricket, which is a unit of AT&T and runs on the same wireless network.
In addition to the new handset, Cricket is currently offering a $50 bill credit for customers who port their phone number over. Under the promo, the ZTE Grand X3 would be $80. A separate deal sees Cricket discounting phones as part of a tax-season-themed promotion.
