Doctor Who's Jenna Coleman Won't be Replaced

Peter Capaldi informs the fans of Doctor who that his assistant in the show, Jenna Coleman, will be staying for the next season. Capaldi has praised his co-star and denied that she was leaving the show.

Reports circulating over the weekend suggested that Coleman, also known as Clara Oswald, will be quitting her role as well as bowing out from the Christmas Special of the show. Coleman has not commented about this yet but her co-star did.

Capaldi told Matt Baker and Alex Jones in an interview that he is not looking for a new assistant and that he does not care where the rumors about Coleman leaving started.

Capaldi admitted that he has read about Coleman leaving at Christmas but he is not sure if Coleman will still get to Christmas. Coleman added that the fans should just watch and see what will happen next.

Aside from dismissing rumors about Coleman leaving the show, Capaldi also praised his co-star. He described Coleman as absolutely fabulous. Coleman is said to have an emotional range that helps her do scenes brillianty.

Capaldi and Coleman were on a tour recently to promote the new 'Doctor Who'. They just got back to the UK after finishing the last leg of their tour in Rio de Janeiro.

Capaldi and Coleman will be in the opener of the new season. They are set to be back in Victorian London in the season opener, 'Deep Breath'.

The first full episode of the debut of another Capaldi as 'Doctor Who' will be hitting the screens on Saturday night.
