The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has fired a guard who allegedly accepted a bribe worth US$10,000 of backstage tickets. The guard was alleged to have accepted the bribes from the entourage of Justin Bieber as she let them in Canada despite criminal records.
The said bribe was given in order to let two of Bieber's entourage to enter Canada. Those of the entourage have criminal records and are Americans and not Canadians. According to Canada's law, the foreigners with criminal convictions can be turned away from the country on certain grounds.

According to an interview released by 'NOW Toronto', two border guards claim thatthe border guard who has been fired from her post was at the Niagara Falls border when the incident happened.
It has not beenrevealed when the bribing happened. However, weeks after the said incident, other friends of Bieber showed up on the border but another officer was on-duty. This time, no one was allowed to enter the border anymore.
According to Huffington Post Canada, CBSA is well aware of the incident. The statement released by Esme Bailey, the spokesperson for CBSA, says that any behavior that breaches the standards set by the law will not be tolerated. They were referring to the chief who was fired which they pertained to as a serious misconduct.
Allegations against the fired border guard included accepting gifts, acceptances of travel offer from a third party, abuse of authority, misuse of government electric networks, engaging preferential treatment and hospitality and other benefits. Bailey added that they released a memo regarding the incident to warn other border guards.
Bieber has not commented on this yet. Bieber has been in a lot of crimes lately including the assault charges when he had a brawl with a limo driver on December 2013 as well as the DUI issued to him in Miami. Bieber also had to post a bail for vandalism charges thrown against him by his neighbor.
