Defending champions Golden States Warriors' Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will be competing against each other in the forthcoming Foot Locker Three-Point Contest in the upcoming 2016 NBA All-Stars Weekend to be held in Toronto, Canada on Saturday February 13.

Curry, who will be competing for the said contest for the fifth time, is the league's top scorer with 29.8 points per game average. In the last three seasons, the All-Star first five has led the NBA in treys made.

In the 49 games the Golden States Warriors played, the 2009 NBA draft 7th overall pick has hit 232 three-pointers and became the first player to drop 200 threes in four straight seasons in NBA history . Curry is also on the track to break his own record set last season of 286 connected shots from beyond the arc.

Thompson, on the other hand, will be competing for his second Foot Locker Three-Point Contest after being a finalist last year at the Madison Square Garden in New York. He is the league's second best with 155 threes made. The other half of the Splash Brothers is averaging 21.5 points per outing.

The Dub's stars will surely be having a great showdown, but not counting out the other participants in the shootout.

On Thursday, aside from Curry and Thompson, the other six three-point contest competitors were also named by the NBA. The shooting event will also be featuring James Harden of the Houston Rockets, Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors, J.J. Redick of the Los Angeles Clippers and Kris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks.
