As it is widely known that Jolin Tsai, a Taiwanese famous singer and dancer, was once in a relationship with Jay Chou. But neither of them ever gave a positive response about their relationship. Recently, when being interviewed by Tao Ching Ying, a top television hostess in Taiwan, for the first time, Jolin Tsai admitted she used to be in love with Jay Chou. In addition, Jolin replied that because Jay Chou cheated on her, they broke up at last. Jolin said frankly: "The days when I hated him most has passed."

Jolin Tsai disclosed when there was a rumored relationship between Jay Chou and Patty Hou in February 2005, Jolin asked Jay Chou to confirm. But Jay Chou denied. When journalists exposed the intimate photographs about Jay Chou and Patty Hou shopping in Tokyo together, Jolin asked Jay again, but Jay still denied his affair.

Jolin said she believed what she saw. She felt disappointed and broke up with Jay Chou even though Jay asked her "whether there is any chance for them to continue the relationship as he will still miss her".

Jolin Tsai said it cost her a whole year to move on. At the beginning of the breakup, Jolin chose to avoid meeting with Jay Chou in the workplace. She hated Jay Chou and Petty Hou at that time. Jolin said: "It's terrible that I am the last one to know the truth. I never experienced such bizarre love."

Now, Jolin and Jay are still friends. "I know his personality, so it's comfortable to be friends with him." She said, though Jay Chou never apologized to her about his affair.
