The Celtics, who lost their last game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, have improved to 32 wins and 23 losses and registered their 8th win in the last 10 games played.
Boston's 2012 NBA draft 21st overall pick Jared Sullinger finished the game with a double-double production of 21 points and 11 rebounds with 7 assists and 1 steal, while the 2012 Big East Player of the Year Jae Crowder added 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block shot.
"We play together and we make adjustments on the fly and I think that's big," the Celtics center said. "It's not just from (coach) Brad (Stevens), it's not from Isaiah or ET (Evan Turner) or Jae Crowder or Avery. It's from everybody. Everybody makes adjustments and is willing to listen."
Avery Bradley, a 2013 NBA All-Defensive Second Team member, finished the night with 18 points and 1 steal for the Celtics, who played without big man Kelly Olynyk late in the first half due to a bruised right shoulder.
The 2013 NBA All-Star Game MVP Chris Paul led the Clippers scoring a team-high 35 points, 13 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 shot block. JJ Redick and DeAndre Jordan contributed 27 and 21 points respectively, while Jamal Crawford chipped in 18 points for the Clippers.
With the loss, Los Angeles Clippers fell to a 35-18 record. They remain the fourth best team in the highly competitive West.
