Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has announced that it will be bringing its latest smartphone called Coolpad Fancy to Vietnam.

Coolpad is again releasing a new budget smartphone in the market to compete with Huawei, ZTE, and Xiaomi. Coolpad is popular for its low cost and quality devices. To continue its domination in the industry, the company is bringing its popular handsets to Vietnam.

The Coolpad Fancy smartphone features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display screen with 2.5D arc glass on top and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protector. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with its own customized user interface buttons called Cool UI. It supports a dual SIM card slot and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 graphics processing unit.

The Coolpad Fancy also comes with a built-in 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB storage via a micro SD card slot. The device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-shooter camera. The smartphone is powered by an 1800mAh capacity battery, which, according to the company, can last up to 7 hours of talk time and around 200 hours of standby time.

The smartphone also supports 2G, 3G, 4G/ LTE, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, WLAN, and a micro USB for connectivity. In terms of its design, the handset is slim and sleek as it only measures 139 x 67.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs about 120 grams. What makes this smartphone more interesting is its feature called Cool Key, located on the back of the device which looks like a fingerprint sensor, but it is not. With this feature, users can allow quick access to open different assigned applications.

The Coolpad Fancy smartphone comes in two colors - Black and White. However, Coolpad is yet to make any announcements regarding the launch of this smartphone in another countries and its price. However, the company mentioned that the smartphone will be soon available in India.
